What are the ingredients in ORAL I.V.?

ORAL I.V. only contains trace minerals + structured water. No sugar, no chemicals, no additives, no stimulants and zero calories. It's raw, organic and as natural as natural can be. We focus on only the smallest and right amounts of sodium, potassium, magnesium, chloride, iron, copper, selenium, zinc and a blend of other natural trace minerals that the body requires to trigger its hydration processes.

Is ORAL I.V. a substitute for water or other liquids?

No. ORAL I.V. does not replenish any more water volume than the 13.8 mL that is in the bottle, nor is it an electrolyte or salt replacement. You should also drink fluids along with ORAL I.V. ORAL I.V. can assist an individual's existing hydration strategy and thus help optimize your hydration.

How and when should I take ORAL I.V.?

Sports:
We recommend taking ORAL I.V. directly by mouth or with 12-16 ounces of water. It is recommended to take ORAL I.V. as a hydration aid and with other fluids prior to, during, and after activities of exertion or as a supplement to daily activities that would otherwise contribute to dehydration. Depending on your level of activity and personal fitness, we recommend taking one vial of ORAL I.V. for every 2 to 4 hours of strenuous activity thereafter. Athletes that push themselves extremely hard can take a vial every 1-2 hours during their race. In addition, because ORAL I.V. is a hydration aid, be sure to include it in your rest and recovery methods too.

Health:
For daily hydration take 1 ORAL I.V. in the morning with 8-12 ounces of water and another in the evening. If you are feeling dehydrated during the day take another ORAL I.V. Please remember to drink plenty of water throughout the day. If you are exercising during the day take an ORAL I.V. before and after your workout for best results.

Travel:
We recommend taking 1 ORAL I.V. 10-15 minutes before taking off. If your flight is over an hour you can take another ORAL I.V. every 2 hours. Drink plenty of water on your flight and take another ORAL I.V. after you land to begin any rehydration needed.

How does ORAL I.V. compare to sports drinks and energy drinks?

ORAL I.V. is neither a sports drink nor an energy drink. Although you may feel added energy when you are optimally hydrated.  Sports drinks may contain sugars and artificial ingredients that are not necessarily user-friendly to the body. ORAL I.V.'s formula of trace minerals serves as a hydration aid and does not contain sugar, caffeine or other stimulants. However, it's important to note that ORAL I.V. can be used as an adjunct to virtually any hydration strategy.

How much sodium and potassium is contained in ORAL I.V.?

ORAL I.V. is not a sodium or potassium replacement product. We focus on the function of water. Our electrolytes are produced through cutting-edge nanotechnology, they are much smaller in particle size, and have been imparted with bio-electrical potential on the body. The bio-electrical potential allows our electrolytes to focus on the body's water at the cellular level.

As a result, ORAL I.V. uses far less amounts of sodium and potassium. Sodium and potassium are less than 1mg per dose, which is <1% of DV.

Will ORAL I.V. give me energy?

ORAL I.V. is not an energy product per se. It does not contain caffeine, stimulants, or any source of sugar whatsoever. Although ORAL I.V. does not directly provide a source of stimulant or cellular fuel, it does aid in the hydration process, which may lead to a feeling of increased energy.

Is ORAL I.V. approved by the FDA?

ORAL I.V. is considered a dietary supplement; there is no approval process from the U.S. FDA for dietary supplements. There are of course requirements that the manufacturer ensure the supplement is safe and avoid any health or disease claims.
